Engineering classes include:

  • ENGINEERING: Simple Machines (grades 3-5)
    • Step into the world of science with our engaging class on simple machines! Through hands-on activities and model-building exercises, kids will explore fundamental concepts of physics while constructing their own working models of simple machines. From levers to pulleys, gears to inclined planes, wheels to axles - this class offers a fun and interactive way for children to learn about the mechanics of everyday objects. Join us and discover the fascinating world of simple machines!

  • ENGINEERS: Architectural & Structural Engineering (6-8)
    • Join us for an exciting class that combines the worlds of architectural and structural engineering! Students will explore key concepts like forces, load, form, function, compression, and reinforcement, while engaging in hands-on activities and model-building exercises. They'll study weak structures and learn how to reinforce them, creating models of famous buildings like the Eiffel Tower, Burj Al-Arab, and Sydney Opera House. Additionally, they'll dive into bridge engineering, constructing models of suspension, arch, and cable-stayed bridges, and even build a tensegrity structure. Students will gain valuable insights into architectural design principles and construction techniques while honing their problem-solving and creative skills.
